The most intriguing organism...

What advice would you give to incoming Ecology majors?

There are so many great people and opportunities in the ecology department, take time to introduce yourself and get to know your professors and classmates.

What was the best piece of advice you received as a student?

Don’t be afraid to talk to professors.

The course that most changed my perspective on the world ...

Freshwater Ecosystems showed me how different ecosystems that many think are similar can actually be, and how small differences can lead to big changes in community structure.

What would be your ideal job in life?

Researcher (either at a university or in government).

What one word best describes my experience in the Odum School of Ecology?

What was the most fun during your years in Ecology at UGA?

Probably presenting at the Graduate Student Symposium. I had a great time and wish I had done it earlier!
