What advice would you give to incoming Ecology majors?

Listen to Misha.

What was the best piece of advice you received as a student?

Anything Misha has ever said.

The course that most changed my perspective on the world ...

Ecotoxicology and Developmental Biology – This class was so deep and had so many incredibly complex ideas but Dr. Parrott and Dr. Lance translated the science so well that every class was mindblowing. This class challenged what I thought was possible on a whole new level and I’m glad I got the oppurtunity to learn what I did, meet all of the people I did, and spend time at SREL. This class gave me a whole new understanding of the importance of protecting the environment and just how much what happens to us as kids, or even what happens before we’re born, can dictate the course of our entire lives.

What would be your ideal job in life?

To travel the world and do research on new species.

What one word best describes my experience in the Odum School of Ecology?

Positive

What was the most fun during your years in Ecology at UGA?

Spending time in the lounge with me fellow ecohippies.
