What advice would you give to incoming Ecology majors?

To be open to new experiences and people, Odum is a family that is open to all!

What was the best piece of advice you received as a student?

To take notice of those around me because they will be my peers, colleagues, and friends for life.

The course that most changed my perspective on the world ...

Environmental Politics and Ecological Problem Solving, these courses opened my eyes to issues that I had never previously learned about and then they challenged me to come up with ways to address and remedy these problems. They focused my passions for environmental policy and justice.

What would be your ideal job in life?

My ideal job in life is to be an environmental attorney and represent states and communities (also to dabble in space law).

What one word best describes my experience in the Odum School of Ecology?

Family

What was the most fun during your years in Ecology at UGA?

Probably any late night surrounded by my friends; they were always filled with joy, talking, music, dancing, and just pure happiness (even if we were together just to study).
